Nicasio Adul Baldé was born in the small village Adjanco in the Gabú region. The youngest son, Nicasio was born completely blind, and his mother, realizing this, treated him with special attention and affection, as did his family members.

One day to the village came an organization called ARGRICE and they are looking for visually impaired children to provide them with a good education and integration into society.

The hardest decision in Nicasio's mother life gave him a chance for the future. Nicasio was only one year old when he left his village to check in at AGRICE's home in Bissau.

And today Nicasio has already completed the first phase of schooling (nursery).
Nicasio Story
But Africa’s not a very good place for blinded children. All the children in AGRICE’s home have very severe diseases. With the proper treatment some of the kids can see. After the first doctor’s appointment 3 persons were selected: 2 of them for cataract surgery and one of them for future diagnostics. There is a tiny little chance Nicasio can see the world with their own eyes.
Next steps:
Currently we are raising funds of 700$ for diagnostics: MRI, different tests, doctor's appointments.
