Amadu met @mila, when he was 6. When she first sees the boy she organizes his transfer to Dakar. Amady is albino. He is the tool for making money. He has no rights and is not considered a human, because he is an albino. He is a slave, like thousands of albino children. He earns money for his family on the street.

Amadu is served well, because he looks bad, he is sick. This is the local reality: the more pity a child causes, the more money is given to him.

When volunteers found him, he has terrible wounds all over his head. He suffered from the pain and his eyes were red and inflamed. Health condition was critical.
Amadu Story
Mila took the boy to the doctors. The treatment process was very long and expensive. At first the condition improved, then worsened again. Turns out, some food also causes health problems, so Amadu needed a special diet.

After a year Amadu feels significantly better, his head is gradually healing, there are no new wounds. He will go to school!
Treatment & recovery:
Amadu has a dream. He dreamt about being an ordinary boy, playing football with the others in a yard. But unfortunately his vision is bad, because of albinism. Most children and adults with this disease have serious vision problems.

Serious eye treatment required. Probably, surgery will be needed. Now we are raising funds for further treatment and full recovery.
